A former logging rail line that once linked Mount Vernon to Clear Lake and beyond, the family-friendly Kulshan Trail provides pedestrians and cyclists with a “car-free”, non-motorized transportation route through Mount Vernon. Moving east-to-west from Bakerview Park, the 2.5-mile long Kulshan trail connects multiple neighborhoods to Lions Park, and the Skagit River Walk Trail leading to downtown Mount Vernon. Along the way, you’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy multiple art installations, as well as explore the William Way trail & nature area along Kulshan Creek.
